Age Compatibility: Consider if the age of the students we place is compatible with your family setup. Our students range from 11 years old and upwards.

Time Commitment: Consider if you can dedicate enough time for social activities. The experience focuses more on home life than housing, so active engagement with the student is crucial.

Activity Planning: The ability to plan and engage in cost-effective activities such as walks, outings, and visits to friends and family is vital for a successful hosting experience.

Spanish Influence: As part of our program, we encourage the student's immersion in the English language. As such, you should be comfortable with the student avoiding contact with other Spanish speakers for the duration of their stay.

Space Availability: While we focus on the home rather than the house, a comfortable living situation is essential. Think about whether you can provide a student with their own sleeping area.

Remember, this commitment should bring joy and cultural enrichment to both the student and your family. So if these considerations are compatible with your family's lifestyle, hosting an international student could be a wonderful experience for you.
